Owner / Director, Matt started his apprenticeship in 2009 doing detailed joinery taking after his father Brian, a cabinet maker / joiner for 30 years. Matt worked for a few different companies throughout his apprenticeship, learning all types of joinery from kitchens and vanities to office joinery and working on major commercial projects in the Sydney CBD. Finishing his apprenticeship in 2013, he went on to work with his dad for a few years doing all types of residential and commercial works including internal carpentry, windows, doors, kitchens, decks, pergolas and full home renovations.
In 2016, Matt started his own business called MGB Joinery and started to subcontract to big building and joinery companies doing all types of contractual work until late 2018 when he took a risk and went out solely on his own to build a business and spend more time with his family. Here we are today supplying customers with quality workmanship and quality joinery at an affordable price.
